Early Life & Family Background
Dileep Kessani Suthar was born on 5th August 1987 in Mirpurkhas city of province Sindh. His father Shree Permanand Kessani S/o Jodharam Ji was by profession a banker in a leading commercial bank of Pakistan. Shree Permanand Kessani served as a bank manager in various branches of different locations in Sindh including Mirpurkhas and Mithi.
Shree Permanand Kessani married a daughter of Shree Bhupomal Ji Kularia in 1971 and from this marriage, he was bestowed a humble and proud son Dileep Kessani, and a daughter Kanta Bai. The maternal grandfather of Dileep Kessani originally belonged to the Chachro town of Tharpakar and had migrated along with his family to India before the 1971 war.
Early Education
Dileep Kessani received his early primary education and matriculation from Government Boys High School of Mithi. He had keenly participated in extracurricular activities at School and it was that time when his school teacher Sir Ravish Lohano first found his talent for writing and motivated him further to focus on writing skills for the future.
During his school days, Dileep also had an interest in technology and computer skills so his father brought a computer system at home in the 1990s. This was a time when computer machine was not so popularly known to most people and not used at their homes but his father wanted to impart the knowledge of computer skills to his children. Using his computer skills, Dileep supported his father in framing and collecting the records of Vanshavali (family trees) of the Pakistani Suthar community.
After his father retired from his government job, he migrated along with his whole family to Jodhpur city of Rajasthan in January 2000. In Jodhpur, he completed his college education and received a bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) from Somani College Jodhpur in 2005.
Professional Career
Dileep Kessani has proved his inspirational talent to the world in the field of poetry, and writing, as well as in the music and film industry. After migrating to India, he initially founded an institute in Jodhpur where he taught computer skills to students of Jodhpur. Apart from this, in a short span of time, he had written more than ten famous books in 3 different languages (Hindi, Urdu, and Sindhi). He also worked as the lyricist for 16 popular songs released in Hindi, Punjabi, and Rajasthan languages.
Dileep Kessani has been an associated member of The Screen/Film Writers Association of India Since 2008 and a Member of IPRS (Indian Performing Rights Society of India, Mumbai). Recently, he has signed a contract with ‘Shot Ok Motion Pictures’ for his story and screenplay of his written story Anhoni we hope the shooting of this film will start soon.
For his notable great works as an author and poet, he was invited as a guest speaker at an event of South Asian University (SAU) of New Delhi in the year 2017. So far, his 5 stories have been broadcast on All India Radio in the magical voice of Zafar Khan Sindhi Saheb Besides his professional journey, Dileep has taken roles in social organizations including Shri Jagriti Sansthan and the platform of this website. He served 3 years as a President of Shri Jagriti Sansthan and 1 year as a Vice President of Rashtriya Kavi Chaupal.
Dileep Kessani always used to credit his family, especially his father Shree Permanand Kessani, and some teachers including Ravish Lohana and Shanker Sagar who inspired him for a successful professional journey.
